A rare automobile and the lastinfluences of the head designer at chrysler/imperial, virgil exner. It's innumber 3 condition and is a well maintained original car with one repaint thatwas done years ago. I bought the car about 10 years ago. The automobile residedin wyoming before i bought it. I'm selling it due to loss of storage. Theodometer shows just under 74,000 miles which, judging by the condition of thecar, is most likely the actual mileage. I've put about 10,000 of thosemiles on it in the last 10 years. The engine runs excellent and is well tuned. The originalcarter afb carburetor has been properly rebuilt a couple of years ago. Theengine starts fine unless it hasn't been running in a few weeks or more andthen it requires more cranking to get started... But once it starts it'sokay until it sits for an extended time again. The transmission has alwaysworked well and shifts properly. There are no engine or transmission leaksbeyond a drop or two. When i first bought the car the brakes were inspected anddeemed to be good. They have always worked well and i have done nothing to themover the years. They still work well but, in line with good it might be a good time to check them again. The factory singleexhaust was converted to dual exhaust before i bought the car and two new walkermufflers were installed a couple of years ago. Resonators were not installed soit's probably.

It has the 440 non-lean burn engine and the transmission hada complete rebuild about 1300 miles ago. The front pads, calipers and brakehoses were also replaced at that time. It has new front and rear u joints andfresh oil and filter. There are no cracks in the dash pad and the carpet, headliner andupholstery are in excellent condition except for one small frayed area at theupper corner of the drivers seat (pic). The trim shop says it can be pulled andresewn. The chrome, glass and stainless are all in very nice condition. Thepower windows, seat, antenna and radio, trunk release, cruise control andchronometer clock all work. The fuel gauge and a couple of the instrument panellights do not work. I have another fuel gauge but haven't had time toinstall it. The ac also is not working but the compressor functions and is quietaccording to the diagnostic (pic). At19-1/2 feet and 2-1/2 tons, the old gal gets her share of attention. I think thecar is exceptional for being 42 years old however, it is being sold as is, whereis without warranty.
