Counting labor the car has over 80k into it. The car runs and drive verygood at all speeds and tracks excellent. Very good at high freeway speeds. Thecar performs very strong with only 2300 lbs or so. The car is a veryhigh quality thought out build. Please read on for more particulars of the car:body/paint: the body is brookville all steel with extended cab for more legroom. The body is very straight and painted dp90 hot rod black. Can be sandedand ready for paint if one wanted to paint. The dp was used as a final color onthe car as initial build perspective. The top is made by sid shaver black clothwith adjustable kit frame that comes apart and can be stowed in the truckmounted in the bed. Interior: the interior is minable by design. Glide seat inblack high quality vinyl with red piping. Auto meter full gauge package withtach. Heater, but hoses not hooked up. 40 ford aftermarket steering wheel. Running gear: 64 409 dual quad 425hp out of a production 409car. Completely rebuilt to stock specs with roller rockers added, solid lifter. Tremec 5 speed with hydraulic clutch. Manual electric puller fanwith shroud. Rear end is a speedway engineering quick changesuper max for hd applications with 411 posi. Suspension: tci frame with superbell straight axle. The front suspension is a 4 bar stainless pete and jake’skit with power disc brake.

This has been in the samefamily for 50 plus years. Everything works including all switches and motors forthe top. The only downside of anything mechanical is the exhaust has a leak andthe driver front window is slow to go up and down and requires a bit of help,but does operate. It has the 312 ci engine with a 4 barrel carb and stockautomatic transmission, power steering, rare spotlight mirror on driver side anddrives and handles well. The interior is in good shape with very little wear. The exterior of the car is very acceptable, but is showing teo small bubbles ondriver quarter with none breaking thru the paint. To sum it up, this would makesomeone a very good driver for local shows and cruises and with a little effortcould make a good show car. Mileage is believed actual but cannot verify.

Hekeeps it in a heated garage and just uses it on special occasions . The time hascome where he is going to down size and possible move to a smaller property. Sothe roadster is going up for sale. When he purchased the car it was in goodrestorable condition but needed to be done. He had correct floor pans installed,along with lower front cowl panels, and lower quarter panel sections. The restis original. All panels were butt welded no over lapping or anything like that. This was done by a professional restorer of vintage cars at a two year timeframe. The underneath of the car is all original clean and solid. The paintcolor is washington blue but does look black in certain light. The interior wasprofessionally restored also . Top bows and irons were restored. He does havethe side curtains and irons also. The motor is a 37 block which has full insertswith 37 heads. Has a 934 rear end which figures out roughly to a 373 gear ratio. Excellent for cruising. Brakes have been upgraded to juice brakes for betterstopping power. All the chrome and trim are in very nice condition. Some hasbeen redone and some original. All gauges in the dash work including fuel gauge,fog lights work. No over heating issues of any type. He hates to part with the car but the time has come. It will only be offered this one time only .
