This is a second owner vehicle that I purchased in 1972. The car had 75,000miles when purchased. At 90,000 the engine threw a rod and it was replaced witha Ford, GPD long block. The car currently has 112,500 original miles and waslast registered in 1979. The vehicle has been in storage since 1979. The car hasbeen restored in the last year. The engine has been tuned and has a rebuiltHolly 4 bbl carburetor. The vehicle has a new white paint and numerous newemblems and trim pieces. The weatherstripping with the exception of the top hasall been replaced. The interior was redone with new upholstery, door panels,kick panels, carpeting, and all new window and door handles inside and out. Therear springs have been re-arched and all new bushings and rear shock absorbershave been installed. The brake shoes, all springs, wheel cylinders and mastercylinder have been rebuilt or replaced with new. The car has new brake hosesfront and rear. The front sway bar bushings have been replaced and the car hasrechromed bumpers. The dash panel has new chrome reveals and lenses and thegauge needles have been restored to the original color. The only damage was adent in the left rear quarter panel that was repaired prior to my purchasing thecar and a small dent in the valance in front of the hood that was repaired in1974. This car has been in California since it was manufactured at the San Joseassembly plant in 1957. The body and undercarrage are solid and rust free. Thetop works flawlessly.

This has been in the samefamily for 50 plus years. Everything works including all switches and motors forthe top. The only downside of anything mechanical is the exhaust has a leak andthe driver front window is slow to go up and down and requires a bit of help,but does operate. It has the 312 ci engine with a 4 barrel carb and stockautomatic transmission, power steering, rare spotlight mirror on driver side anddrives and handles well. The interior is in good shape with very little wear. The exterior of the car is very acceptable, but is showing teo small bubbles ondriver quarter with none breaking thru the paint. To sum it up, this would makesomeone a very good driver for local shows and cruises and with a little effortcould make a good show car. Mileage is believed actual but cannot verify.

Im the third owner , i purchased in 2015, of this barn find. It hadnt been driven and stored since 1974. Original motor,(new carb installed) transmission and interior. New white soft top , blue tooth radio (that looks vintage) kh wire wheels with radial tires many parts replaced with certified ford thunderbird parts too many to list.. Disclaimer : small 1inch slit on drivers arm rest, small tear on headliner of hard top. This car is 98% thinning out my collection.[ selling a 1978 kellison stallion #2 of 117 and 1999 plymouthprowler] this car can use a tune up but runs , shifts and stops very good. Needs power steering rebuild or replace, slight leak. Needs fuel gauge and clock other than that its a great car with a very rare option, less than 500 produced. Car sold as is, no warranty offered or implied. Last birds nest equipped tbird at barrett jackson sold over $60,000 lot#972 included in sale are the rare chrome head and tail light doors,original working wonder bar radio , floor mats, original wheels, hubcaps etc $500 non refundable due at closing must be picked up with in 2 weeks of agreement.

Good color combination with matching interior. Car was restored and driven very little. Shows 2,080 miles since done. It was used for local car shows and has nsra safety 23 sticker from local show. Body is real straight and paint is excellent. Bumpers where rechromed and bumper guards and holes removed for a smooth look. As pictures show there where a few other changes to give it a cleaner look. Front and rear emblems where removed from hood and truck. Headlight doors where removed and custom taillight lenses. Also has recessed power antenna. Car has great look and draws a lot of attention when driven and at shows. Stock wheels painted body color with stock original hubcaps.

The car runs and drives great,,both engine and trans was rebuild a year ago. New convertible top the only issues are 1. There's no place on the island to have parts re-chromed so bumpers, windowrails will need to be chromed . 2. Power brake booster pump needs to be rebuiltjust running reg brakes now. 3. This car was built on april 18, the 5th day of production, in the louisville, kentucky plant. The roof quarter trim skyliner emblems were not available for the first few production cars and consequently this car was produced without them making it very rare.
