It has a superbly refined suspension, steering and brakes, sharp styling inside and out. The engine runs excellent and the 5 speed manual transmission shifts nice and smooth. The clutch is very easy to negotiate and it is very easy to shift and change gears. This mazda is a very affordable little sports sedan that can easily hold 5 passengers while providing lots of trunk space. The overall condition of the mazda protege lx is very good! This mazda protege lx passed the state and retail inspection process without any issues, at which time we conducted a lengthy inspection of the underbody for leaks, then a long test drive to ensure the overall drivability. We cut no corners here at elite! We just installed new front brakes pads and calipers, new valve cover gaskets, spark plug seals, and as always, a new va inspection sticker with a fresh oil and filter change!
